Castro Valley, CA’s DEFILER, who recently re-issued their debut album, Pangaea, through Stillborn Records (click here to purchase), will be hitting the road this February in support of Wayne Static and Polkadot Cadaver, hitting a myriad of cities never before played by the band. DEFILER will join the tour on February 6^th in Atlanta, GA and will be making their way up the East Coast and back towards home, finishing up in Reno, NV. The band will be performing a number of new songs while on the road.

DEFILER also recently inked a record deal with a new label home, more details to be announced soon.

DEFILER Currently in the Studio Working On New Album – Set to Announce New Label Home Shortly — Details Forthcoming

In October 2010, after a few months living in the studio working on demos and recording, Castro Valley, CA’s DEFILER released their own debut album, PANGAEA, as a digital album only. Soon after, scraping together enough money from digital sales of PANGAEA, the band shot their first ever music video for ‘Cryomancer’. Once ‘Cryomancer’ went viral it spread like wildfire, garnering thousands of views within the first few weeks of its release and accumulating over 1.25 million YouTube views to date.

The viral success of the ‘Cryomancer’ video immediately caught the attention of Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed, Jasta, Kingdom of Sorrow) and Stillborn Records. Shortly thereafter, DEFILERvocalist Jake Pelzl and Jasta started working together on re-issuing PANGAEA as a physical CD for the first time ever. Due to popular demand, Stillborn Records is now fast tracking the re-issue of PANGAEA and making it available for a limited time as a CD/T-shirt bundle.

The re-issue PANGAEA was remixed/re-masterd by Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, Emmure, Chimaira) also includes ‘Wild Wasteland’, a never before released bonus studio track. ThePANGAEA re-issue will also include new artwork designed by Mike D from Darkicon Design (Killswitch Engage).

DEFILER recently signed a new record deal (with a new label home) with additional details are set to be announced shortly. The band and is currently hard at work on the follow up to PANGAEAwith an expected first quarter 2012 release.

Connecticut hardcore metal legends HATEBREED are pleased to announce a brand new slew of UK Tour dates that will send the band overseas this December. The ten day run kicks off on December 6th in Bristol, and comes to a halt on December 16th in London. Tickets for this tour will go on sale this coming Monday, September 27th, 2010.

“We’re beyond excited to return to the UK for a tour in December,” states vocalist Jamey Jasta. “We hinted to the fans that we’d be back to do a full headline set when we were playing with Machine Head earlier this year. Then we had a great shows in Reading, Colchester & Leeds, so we wanted to make sure we closed out 2010 with a proper headline set for all of our UK Diehards!
